Terms & Conditions
All orders for goods or services accepted by WhiteLeafBoutique.com (White Leaf Clothing Boutique) are accepted subject to the following conditions, which shall form part and govern the contract of sale. Acceptance of goods shall be deemed to be acceptance of these conditions of sale.
1. Payment and Price
All prices are in £ sterling, inclusive of VAT but excluding postage and packaging.
Postage & Packaging will be added automatically at the final stage of your order by the system. All charges are calculated on order value. See “Delivery” above for rates.
Price Lists do not constitute an offer. All invoiced goods are due for payment at the time of order. Payment is to be made in sterling via our Secure Online Payment facility. White Leaf Clothing Boutique online secure shopping facility accepts all major debit and credit cards. For the minority of customers who do not feel comfortable paying on-line we can sometimes accept card payment by telephone.
2. Availability of Goods.
Items shown on this website reflect current stock. Occasionally, we may not have an item, due to stock errors, in which case we will contact you as soon as possible to offer alternative or a refund. To avoid important messages ending up in your junk mail folder (especially but not exclusively users of Hotmail) please enter info@whiteleafboutique.com into your address book.
3. Delivery of Goods.
White Leaf Clothing Boutique aims to dispatch all orders as soon as possible after receipt. If in the event of delay it is not possible to dispatch orders promptly we will advise you by e-mail. To allow for packaging your order during normal shop hours, we anticipate you receive your order within 3-5 days.
Please note: Delivery is by Royal Mail, normally 48 hour tracked service. White Leaf Clothing Boutique cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the postal system. Please check your email for tracking information.
4. Product Information.
Product images, descriptions and approximate dimensions have been designed to give as much information as possible about the product. Product images are not displayed to actual size and where necessary products will be labelled ” Not As Illustrated” when images are used for guidance purposes only. Additional product information can be requested from White Leaf Boutique at any time.
5. Claims.
(a) No liability for any claim for damage or non-functionality shall be accepted unless the purchaser notifies White Leaf Boutique in writing (via post or electronic mail) within 30 days of purchase giving as much information as possible.
No liability for any claim will be accepted in the case of goods differing in quantity or descriptions from the particulars given on the delivery note unless White Leaf Clothing Boutique is notified in writing by the purchaser within 30 days of purchase. The onus is on the purchaser to prove any shortages.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
6. Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
All purchases made via our Online Store are subject to the UK Distance Selling Regulations.
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000:
You have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund with no financial penalty for any item or services.
You may cancel your order by sending or delivering to us a cancellation e-mail or cancellation letter at any time up to and including seven days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) after the day on which you receive your purchase. If you exercise your Statutory Right to Cancel your order, you must return to us at your expense the item or items that you wish to return.
7. Returned Goods Not covered by Distance Selling Regulations (Section 6 above)
(a) The vendor will not accept goods for credit or refund unless such return has been authorised by White Leaf Clothing Boutique, and the goods are received by White Leaf Clothing Boutique in stock condition, with original packaging.
(b) The purchaser shall, unless otherwise stated, or, if goods are being returned under the Distance Selling Regulations, be responsible for the cost of outward and return carriage and insurance of all goods returned by the purchaser to White Leaf Boutique for refund or credit. The goods shall be at the risk of the purchaser until actual receipt by White Leaf Boutique. The onus of proof of safe delivery shall rest with the purchaser.
(c) White Leaf Clothing Boutique shall refund postal expenses on returns of faulty or incorrectly supplied goods only.
(d) No credit or refund shall be made for goods until they have been received by White Leaf Clothing Boutique with original packaging.
8. Complaints Procedure.
White Leaf Clothing Boutique endeavours to respond to complaints within five working days. We promise to deal with all complaints confidentially and in a fair, speedy and effective manner. This contract is and shall be deemed to have been made in Wales and shall in all respects be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms and conditions.
